ライティングの講座（ネイティブによる修正）(1)

最近ビジネスライティングの講座を取っています。（といっても、題材は私が選んで、それをネイティブに添削してもらうというだけのものですが）。200語前後の文章を5回添削してもらったのですが、修正された箇所を、紹介してみます。

・「商品を分解された場合、保証いたしかねますので、商品を丁寧に扱っていただくようお願いします」
*私=>Please be asked to handle our products with enough care because we do not warrant if you disassemble them.
*ネイティブの校正=>Please ensure that you handle our products with due care because disassembling our products will void the warranty.
（丁寧に言おうとしてbe asked toと書いたが、ensureで良い。enough careではなくではなくdue careと書かれれば、英語らしい英語ですね）

・「基板がそれぞれの基準を満たしたら、「Pass」に丸を打ってください。そうでない場合は、「Fail」に丸を打ってください。
*私=>When the board meets each criterion, put a circle on "Pass." If not, put a circle on "Fail."
ネイティブの校正=>When the board meets each criterion, circle "Pass." If not, circle "Fail."
（put a circleと書かなくてもcircleだけで通じるのですね）

・「基板に問題(ネジの緩み・喪失)がないか、目視検査してください」
*私=>Check visually that there is no problem on the board, such as looseness or loss of the screws.
*ネイティブの校正=> Check visually that there is no problem on the board, such as loose or missing screws.
（これも、looseness or loss of the screwsをloose or missing screwsにすると、英語らしい表現になりました）

・「ヘルスチェックは、装置一つ一つに行われる。
*私=>Health check will be performed on the devices one by one.
*ネイティブの校正=>A health check will be performed on each device.
（「一つ一つ」という日本語に引っ張られたのですが、確かに、each一語で済みます）
